About Us

Our Approach

(Re)Natured Cities is based on three core principles:

We start by understanding what is actually happening on the ground, not just what is written in policies. This allows us to identify gaps, challenges and opportunities.

All resources are designed for adult learners of different backgrounds and education levels, using clear language, visuals and accessible formats.

Cities work best when citizens are involved. The project promotes cooperation between municipalities, experts and communities to create shared solutions.

Our objectives

The project aims to:

  • Support municipalities in their green transition

  • Promote sustainable and nature-based practices

  • Improve biodiversity and ecosystem services

  • Increase environmental awareness and eco-literacy

  • Encourage citizen participation and ownership

  • Strengthen cities’ resilience to climate change

Who is it for?

  • Municipal workers and decision-makers

  • Adult learners and educators
